Responsibilities
- Assist chefs in basic food prep (cutting, washing, peeling, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, and workstations
- Handle dishwashing and sanitizing equipment properly
- Organize and store ingredients and supplies according to safety guidelines
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP)
- Help with receiving and storing kitchen deliveries
- Support during service time as needed
- Dispose of waste and follow recycling procedures
- Report equipment or hygiene issues to supervisors promptly
