ASAP Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with strong expertise in high-voltage systems to join a major energy and infrastructure project in Qatar. This role is pivotal in delivering engineering excellence across project stages, ensuring technical integrity, compliance with international standards, and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate high-voltage engineering activities for assigned projects. Review and validate contractor / subcontractor deliverables, ensuring compliance with specifications and project requirements. Provide technical guidance on design, construction, testing, and commissioning of HV systems. Oversee project interfaces with procurement, construction, and operations teams. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout all project phases. Monitor project schedules and progress, resolving issues and mitigating risks. Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations for management. Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). 10+ years of engineering experience, with significant exposure to high-voltage systems (transmission, substations, switchgear, etc.). Proven experience in project execution within oil & gas, utilities, or large infrastructure. Strong knowledge of international HV standards and best practices. Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills. Previous Middle East project experience is an advantage. Why Apply
