Information & Technology (IT) Supervisor

The IT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT department ensuring the effective functioning of IT systems providing technical support and leading a team of IT professionals. This role includes managing IT infrastructure coordinating support services maintaining system security and implementing IT projects that align with organizational goals.

What you will be doing

• Supervise and support the day-to-day activities of the IT team.
• Ensure smooth functioning of all IT systems including hardware networks and servers.
• Monitor performance of IT systems and suggest improvements.
• Oversee installation configuration and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
• Provide second and third-level technical support and resolve escalated issues.
• Enforce IT policies and procedures and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Coordinate IT projects upgrades and migrations.
• Manage user accounts access permissions and data backups.
• Train and mentor IT staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers.
• Prepare regular reports on system performance team productivity and IT incidents.
