Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field. 35 years of experience in IT support or network / system administration. 12 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role preferably in hospitality. Strong knowledge of networking server administration hardware troubleshooting and cybersecurity. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Active Directory cloud services and enterprise software. Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Microsoft Cisco) are a plus.
Information & Technology (IT) Supervisor
The IT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT department ensuring the effective functioning of IT systems providing technical support and leading a team of IT professionals. This role includes managing IT infrastructure coordinating support services maintaining system security and implementing IT projects that align with organizational goals.
What you will be doing
- Supervise and support the day-to-day activities of the IT team.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all IT systems including hardware networks and servers.
- Monitor performance of IT systems and suggest improvements.
- Oversee installation configuration and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
- Provide second and third-level technical support and resolve escalated issues.
- Enforce IT policies and procedures and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Coordinate IT projects upgrades and migrations.
- Manage user accounts access permissions and data backups.
- Train and mentor IT staff; conduct performance evaluations.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance team productivity and IT incidents.
