To drive Transportation & Installation (T&I) execution leadership to all projects. Accountable and responsible for effective and efficient delivery of the various scopes in Projects and will provide functional support to all projects in the area of T&I Engineering and Execution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee development and implementation of process & procedure supporting full functional T&I scope covering engineering / execution - including all aspects marine operations assurance, marine warranty requirements, procedural compliance, execution safety and integrity and project execution effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ensure demonstrable competency and experience to advise, make recommendations and decisions for T&I regarding transportation and installation engineering and execution requirements and activities including marine vessel assurance, load-out, sea fastening, transportation and installation analysis, methods and procedures and marine operations and activities.
- Guide team by sharing knowledge and lessons learned during implementation of T&I input to engineering designs and installation procedures developed by EPC Contractors.
- Responsible for overall performance, KPIs and accurate assessment and reporting of T&I progress for each EPC. Coordinates overall integrated T&I plans for all scope under execution
- Assess & monitor performance through surveillance and analytics of T&I scope – perform necessary assessments, identify opportunities for improvements, application of lessons learned.
- Enable effective and efficient resource acquisition, deployment and utilization of T&I execution teams.
- Oversee engagement of T&I PMT with Operations, Marine and Logistics organizations to solicit input, provide feedback and seek alignment with T&I execution plans.
- Focal point for implementing T&I safety leadership and safe execution of the work and assist all SPM(s) / PM(s) leadership team in executing project responsibilities.
- Ensures all aspects of T&I risks defined in Risk Management and Mitigation Plans are managed effectively and timely, and approve T&I execution design changes, coordinate all onshore and installation changes specification revisions and exceptions in accordance with the Project Management of Change (PMOC) processes.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering15 years of experience with at least 10 years demonstrated T&I project management experienceExperience managing multiple T&I execution aspects including offshore heavy lifts, pipeline, and cable installations, load-out and transportationExtensive project management experience in a senior leadership and supervisory roleExperience with float-over installation, preferredWorldwide experience with offshore contractorsApplication and in-depth knowledge of Industry standards and working knowledge of stakeholders (e.g., IOCs, Offshore Contractors) specificationsRequires offshore survival certificate and able to pass the offshore medical evaluation (post-employment)Ability to work on or be based on a platform or vesselSeniorities and Employment
