Lead Static Engineer

الوصف الوظيفيProfessional Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 15+ years in oil and gas with major contractor or consultants; experience in conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering and design as per project scope, design basis, and client procedures. Familiar with relevant design and analysis software; experience in preparing deliverables such as Mechanical Data Sheets, Equipment Specifications, and Material Requisitions. For Static : Design Calculations per applicable international standards (e.g., API 650, API 620, ASME Sec VIII div 1 and 2); equipment GAD, nozzle orientation drawing, and detailed fabrication drawings as applicable. Working knowledge on SHELL DEP is preferred. Experience attending progress / design reviews and client clarification meetings. QatarEnergy Refinery related project execution experience is preferred. Lead Static Engineer
Bilfinger Middle East are seeking a Lead Static Engineer to join our team.
Reporting to the Discipline Team Leader / Manager and Project Manager, the candidate will assume sole responsibility for assigned mechanical engineering work as per project scope.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering work for assigned scope as per project requirements.
- Attend progress reviews, design reviews, and clarification meetings with the client.
- Prepare / design calculations and deliverables for static systems per applicable standards.
- Develop and review equipment specifications, material requisitions, and related technical documentation (e.g., Data Sheets, VDR).
