Deputy Manager & Document Controller – Solar PV / Energy Projects

Location : Qatar

Contract Duration : ~8 months (full-time on-site)

Experience : Minimum 3 years

Role Summary

The Deputy Manager & Document Controller will support the Site Manager in administrative and coordination tasks while managing project documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and accessibility. The role includes supervising EPC progress and ensuring adherence to approved engineering documents and layouts.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and control all project documentation, including drawings, reports, and permits.

Assist in scheduling, reporting, and coordination activities.

Ensure proper filing, retrieval, and version control of records.

Liaise with stakeholders for document approvals and follow-up actions.

Support EPC supervision to ensure works meet project requirements and timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Document Control or relevant discipline.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in document control, administration, or project support, preferably in energy, solar, or infrastructure projects.

Proficient in MS Office and document management systems.

Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.

Additional Information

Full-time allocation on-site for the duration of the works.

Scope covers supervision of EPC progress and verification of compliance with approved engineering designs and layouts.
