Job Purpose :
To drive sales and business development for valves and mechanical products in the Oil & Gas sector in Qatar by developing client relationships, promoting OEM products, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities :
Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas / energy sector in Qatar.Develop and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, end-users, clients, contractors, and other key stakeholders.Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits to clients to promote OEM products, especially valves.Prepare and submit competitive proposals and quotations, and negotiate commercial terms and contracts.Provide pre-sales support, including technical clarifications and product specifications.Liaise with OEMs / manufacturers to ensure alignment of product offerings, lead times, technical data, and support.Monitor and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, market trends, competitor activity, and performance metrics.Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, seminars, and forums.Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.5–7 years’ experience in technical sales, business development, or sales engineering in the Oil & Gas industry, with focus on valves and mechanical products.At least 3 years’ experience working in the Qatar energy / oil & gas market, with exposure to Gulf region clients.Proven track record in trading, agency representation, and working with OEMs. Prior experience with trading agencies is an advantage.Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Familiarity with CRM tools, sales pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.Knowledge of international codes, specifications, and standards relevant to valves and mechanical systems.Self-driven, target-oriented, with the ability to work independently and in teams.Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).Valid Qatar driving license.
