About the Job : Our Operations department in Qatar is actively seeking talented individuals with experience in the heavy lift industry to join our team at Roll Group. As a Heavy Haul Driver, you will play a vital role in executing a range of transportation tasks, from routine to complex, to support project-based and daily operations. This role demands expertise in heavy haul transportation, handling loads exceeding 70 meters in length, overweight and oversized cargoes, and overnight hauls. Training and Responsibilities : Ensure the mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment of vehicles is in good working order. Maintain accurate electronic logs and paper records when necessary, in compliance with state and federal regulations. Document service or repair activities and report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage. Secure cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring safe transport. Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew. Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods, checking load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy. Review bills of lading and work orders to determine assignment details and procedures. Couple or uncouple trailers as needed. Inspect trailers after unloading to ensure no damage has occurred. Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, phones, and GPS systems to communicate effectively. Ensure all required permits are in place for hauling permitted loads. Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor. 3-5 years of experience in a driver position Proficient knowledge of driving protocols under regional governing agencies such as OSHA, FMCSA, DOT, etc. Valid driver's license through local jurisdiction. Compliance with all company competence and training matrix requirements Holding Qatar Driving license. What We Offer : An inspiring and dynamic working environment in an international company.
