INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST

Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Industrial Hygienist contributes to the establishment of the project industrial hygiene management system including hazard identification exposure assessment and monitoring and health surveillance for NFS Onshore inline with Project LNG SHES policies and procedures as well as relevant regulatory requirements Ensures that project occupational health and hygiene management procedures are aligned with Project and RLIC requirements as well as legal requirements of the State of Qatar Reviews all occupational health and hygiene requirements deliverables for the EPC phase of the project in consideration of project requirements and regulatory bodies Ensures that EPC Contractor complies with the project requirements including industrial hygiene food and water safety heat stress prevention ergonomics and camp hygiene Participates in EPC Contractor s site and camp inspections and Company s SHES audits Prepares inspection audit and monthly activity reports Supports the development of a centralized database for heath surveillance of Similar Exposure Groups Contributes to periodic injury and illness statistics and analysis developing recommendations and reporting to project management Interfaces as key focal point between relevant health representatives including regulatory bodies Reviews EPC CONTRACTOR s industrial hygiene candidates to ensure they meet project requirements
