Overview
Position summary : Ensure staff work together to provide optimum service and meet guest needs. Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises. Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO usage, and cleanliness. Complete inventories and stock requisition as needed. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest wellbeing. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; act as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment / Open Door Policy process. Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support the team; listen and respond to concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and / or cost-savings. Read and visually verify information in various formats; visually inspect tools and equipment for defects. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds; maneuver through narrow or elevated spaces; navigate stairs or service ramps; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors. Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications Education : High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Related Work Experience : At least 2 years of related work experience. Supervisory Experience : At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
