Team Leader MEP

Overview

MEP Team Leader needed in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on overseeing the maintenance and operations of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems within residential compounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Facilities Management (FM), not construction, and will lead a team of technicians to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise MEP technicians in daily operations, preventive maintenance, and reactive repairs across compound properties.
• Ensure all MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.) function efficiently and meet regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with FM management to plan and execute maintenance schedules and improvement projects.
• Monitor and report on team performance, work quality, and service delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex MEP issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and asset conditions.
• Ensure compliance with Qatari regulations and company policies related to health, safety, and environment (HSE).
• Liaise with residents and property management to address service requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Support procurement and inventory management of MEP-related materials and tools.
