Contracts Specialist (3 months)

The Contracts Specialist plays a key role in managing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents related to bids, tenders, and project execution. This role ensures that all contractual obligations are met in accordance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards while supporting various internal teams in contract lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities : Collaborate with the Bid Management team to develop standard product and service contracts for tender invitations and proposals. Draft, review, and oversee the internal approval process of customer contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, commercial, and corporate standards. Negotiate contract terms and conditions with customers and secure final approvals and signatures. Monitor and manage ongoing contracts to ensure compliance, including handling contract variations, renewals, and change orders. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, legal, commercial, finance, and operations to align contract terms with bid requirements and project objectives. Prepare prequalification, tender, and contract documentation in line with company procedures and contract strategy. Provide advisory support during contract administration and assist in resolving contract-related issues throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to the contract close-out process, ensuring all obligations are fulfilled and documentation is completed. Support other related functions as required and demonstrate flexibility in assisting cross-functional needs. Qualifications & Skills Required Minimum of

7 years’ experience

in contract management, procurement, or commercial roles preferably within the

GCC region Solid understanding of

contract law ,

procurement processes , and

commercial practices Strong familiarity with

Qatari laws and regulations

related to tenders and contracts Proficient in using contract management and document control software tools Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Fluency in English
