Crane Driver

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Operate mobile, tower, or overhead cranes to load, unload, and move materials on-site.

Inspect crane equipment and lifting accessories (slings, shackles, hooks) before operation to ensure safety and functionality .

Read and interpret lifting plans, load charts, and rigging diagrams accurately.

Coordinate with signalmen, riggers, and site personnel to execute lifts safely and efficiently.

Ensure all lifts comply with HSE regulations, PTW (Permit-to-Work), and site safety procedures .

Monitor load stability, crane movement, and environmental conditions (wind, weather, terrain).

Perform daily checks, maintenance, and minor repairs of crane equipment.

Maintain records of crane operation, lifting logs, and maintenance reports .
