Traffic Operations Manager

Overview Will have full overarching responsibilities to the flow of traffic and will undertake traffic analysis to optimise traffic flows on the roads network, from the RMC Control Room Centre. He will be the key communicator with the Stakeholders including the Police to deal with any Incidents, Emergencies or Special events that will require planning of any road diversions and gaining approval to expedite the operations and maintenance activities efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Oversee traffic flow management from the RMC Control Room Centre and perform traffic analysis to optimise road network flows.

Act as the primary liaison with stakeholders, including police, for incidents, emergencies, or special events requiring planning of road diversions.

Obtain approvals to expedite operations and maintenance activities while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent (preferred).

More than 5 years of relevant experience; minimum requirement.

Experience outside the MENA region is noted as relevant.

Qualified professional who can manage and coordinate a specialized activity, discipline or team of moderate size and complexity.

Ability to lead the formulation of advanced technical concepts or provide specialist services in support of project requirements.

Independently perform highly complex professional assignments requiring application of specialized principles.
