Manager of Planning and Development

Job Objective : The Manager of Planning and Development oversees the sector’s strategic and operational planning, budget and contract management, staff development, governance and risk management, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and policies to achieve sector objectives and sustain performance. Key Responsibilities : Prepare and manage the annual budget (CAPEX / OPEX) and monitor expenses. Manage contracts and suppliers, ensuring compliance with policies. Manage sector invoices and ensure all required approvals are obtained. Lead and coordinate the sector’s strategic and operational planning, monitoring KPIs. Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development programs for sector employees. Develop sector policies and procedures (Governance) and ensure compliance. Monitor internal audit reports and prepare responses for management. Manage operational risks and implement improvement and change initiatives. Qualifications & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent (Master’s preferred). Minimum 15 years of experience in planning and development or financial / operational management, preferably in the media sector. Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP). Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
