Senior Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.

Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to gather relevant planning data.

Analyze critical paths and constraints to determine the effect of changes on the schedule.

Propose mitigation measures to recover slippage or avoid potential delays.

Participate in progress meetings with Ashghal and other stakeholders.

Prepare extension of time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, and other contractual time-related documentation.

Ensure all planning and scheduling activitiesply with Ashghal requirements and standards.

Support cost control and risk management functions as required.

Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to align schedule with resource and material availability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years on Ashghal or similar infrastructure projects in Qatar.

Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.

MMUP registration is mandatory

Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and time-related contractual claims.

Excellentmunication and presentation skills.

Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
