Commercial Manager – Starlink Qatar
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our Business Planning and Pricing department. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the commercial, financial, and contractual management of our large‑scale telecommunications and ICT projects. You will lead commercial planning, develop sophisticated financial models, and create compelling bid strategies for mega projects and complex enterprise deals. Your expertise will be crucial in negotiating commercial terms and ensuring all activities align with corporate objectives and profitability targets. The position involves developing comprehensive reports and dashboards for executive leadership to support strategic decision‑making and collaborating extensively with cross‑functional teams to ensure financial integrity and governance standards.
- 8-12 years of experience in commercial management within the telecommunications and ICT sectors.
- Proven track record of managing commercial and financial aspects of large‑scale projects and strategic deals.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, pricing strategy development, and commercial evaluation.
- Strong expertise in reviewing and negotiating commercial terms and conditions for complex contracts.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting comprehensive financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in developing business cases for major business opportunities.
- Experience working with government and large enterprise accounts.
- In‑depth knowledge of project-level profitability tracking and billing systems.
- Experience in improving and implementing commercial policies and governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of current market trends in the telecommunications and ICT industry.
