Wood is recruiting for a Senior Piping Engineer to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across EPC, PMC, FEED, Pre-FEED, Concept and Feasibility scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of project work in accordance with the project execution plan, including Wood and / or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man-hour, cost and the project schedule targets.

Position is based in Qatar for a long term assignment.

Experience

• Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10 to 15 years of experience in piping engineering, including offshore and onshore projects.
• Expertise in greenfield and brownfield project execution, including FEED and detailed design.
• Proficiency in 3D design tools (E3D, PDMS, SP3D) and stress analysis.
• Strong knowledge of piping layout, piping materials, valves and associated codes / standards.
• Previous experience with North Oil Company or Maersk Projects will be considered an added advantage.
