Accountant - Maritime and Logistics at Milaha
The role involves managing financial accounting, reporting, and intercompany transactions for multiple entities within the shipping, maritime, and logistics sectors. Key responsibilities include processing and approving intercompany entries, performing month‑end closings, preparing accruals and reconciliations, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and producing accurate management reports. The position also ensures compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and audit requirements while collaborating with various business and finance stakeholders.
Qualifications : Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, possess a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CIMA, and have 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the shipping or logistics industry, with exposure to IFRS and familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Proficiency in English is essential, and Middle East experience is an advantage.
