Summary
Reporting to the Material Manager, He / She is responsible of SmartPlant Materials Computer application. The actual denomination for the computer supervisor will be SmartPlant Materials Operator.
Job Responsibilities
Should have a strict control of the existence of stocks in the warehouse, maintaining the stock by means of computer control of reception batches and material outputs for Subcontractors by means of the prefabrication optimization program.Should communicate the forecasted material arrivals, provide updates on the status of various purchase orders, and outline material requirements. This should be done in collaboration with relevant departments (through the Material Manager) that may require specific documentation related to the progress of material supply at both the site and the home office.Maintain and report design changes and its application to assess the dispatch progress.Maintain full awareness of material shortages, surpluses, and damages through coordination with the Material Manager and Warehouse Manager. Ensure all relevant information is accurately reported and documented within the SmartPlant Materials system.Operate and maintain SmartPlant (Marian) Materials system for accurate tracking and management of materials throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure material master data, including part numbers, descriptions, and specifications, are properly maintained in the system.Ensure all material movements, including receipts, issues, transfers, and returns, are accurately recorded in SmartPlant Materials.Ensure all material handling activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and project specifications.Regularly audit the SmartPlant Materials system for data integrity, troubleshooting issues related to system access, material entries, and reports.Requirements
Proven hands-on experience with SmartPlant Materials (SPMAT) and / or Marian in an EPC or Oil & Gas project environment.Strong understanding of materials workflows : requisition, purchasing, expediting, receiving, warehousing, and issuing.Experience inputting and validating material data, certificates, and documentation in compliance with project and QA / QC requirements.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SPMAT materials management system in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy sector.Working Schedule
Workdays : Saturday-Thursday
Day Off : Friday
