Psychologist Learning Support

Position Summary The position is responsible for conducting psychological assessments and performing required interventions to ensure student health and wellness Job Responsibilities Implements programs to evaluate address and monitor student s mental health and personal and professional development Monitors and assesses existing mental health conditions of students including but not limited to crisis intervention relationship management learning difficulties mood disorders professionalism adjustment to campus etc Conducts psychological assessments maintains confidentiality provides evaluation reports and timely referrals Performs academic skills assessments and coordinates appropriate assistance for students with specific learning needs Assists with student programs and services and coordinates with WCMCQ faculty staff and affiliate partners including WCMCNew York Cornell University Ithaca Hamad Medical Corporation Sidra and Qatar Foundation as required Supports in developing and implementing student health and wellness programs collaborating with various internal teams to ensure smooth delivery Supports the development and maintenance of policies and procedures manual ensuring compliance and consistency in area of operations Perform other duties as assigned
