CNC Programmer Mesaieed, Qatar

Frijns Middle East is recruiting for a Steel Fabrication CNC Programmer to join our growing team in Mesaieed, Qatar. This is a full-time office and workshop-based role.

The Steel Fabrication CNC Programmer is responsible for programming CNC machines and Welding Robots (LANTEK 3D FLEX, TUBEST, VERNON TOOL, METALIX, STEEL PROJECTS-PLM, LANTEK 2D, CYPNEST, YRC1000-INFORM, AutoCAD, CAD, CAM etc.) used in the fabrication of steel components. The role involves reading technical drawings, generating cnc programs, optimizing the processes, and collaborating closely with the design and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write CNC programs for steel cutting, drilling, and forming operations using above listed related software.
• Interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to create accurate programs.
• Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feeds based on material and machine capabilities.
• Optimize programs to improve efficiency, reduce machine wear, and minimize material waste.
• Set up and test programs on machines as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Coordinate with machine operators, quality control, and workshop departments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming, tooling, or machine setup.
• Maintain and update CNC programming records and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards in all processes.
• Recommend improvements to machining processes, tooling, and workflow.
