What we want

The Temporary Research Associate will perform experimental research on chemical and physical processes of water and wastewater treatment, including sample handling and analysis. The Research Associate will analyze water and environmental samples for research projects conducted by fellow researchers, graduate and undergraduate students in the laboratory. The Temporary Research Associate will also oversee the management and operation of the water and environmental research laboratory at TAMUQ, including ensuring compliance with TAMUQ policies and procedures, safety regulations and quality standards, preparing project safety analyses, managing laboratory inventories and equipment, maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, procuring chemicals and materials, and maintaining laboratory records. Additionally, the Temporary Research Associate will provide technical support to other research staff and students performing research in the laboratory.
