Lead Electrical Engineer

Lead electrical engineering design activities for the project (HV, MV, LV, and ELV systems). Responsibilities Lead electrical engineering design activities for the project (HV, MV, LV, and ELV systems). Review and approve electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and cable schedules. Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, and other international standards. Prepare technical specifications for electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution systems. Provide technical support during procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning. Conduct site inspections and ensure contractor compliance with safety and quality standards. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas or EPC projects. Certification in electrical safety / Chartered Engineer preferred. Proficient in ETAP, Dialux, and other electrical design software. Mandatory Requirements 15+ years of experience Valid Qatar Engineering License (MME / MMUP / UPDA) Seniority level
