Sales Engineer (M / F)

Overview

Sales Engineer (M / F) role at PERI. Job purpose : Sales Engineers will use their sales skills to secure projects for PERI, with the highest price quality possible and the most favorable terms and conditions. Responsibilities

Promote PERI products and advise customers regarding the most cost-effective formwork and shoring solutions. Conduct sales consultations with contractors (general and sub-contractors) who carry out the concrete work. Analyze drawings and develop preliminary concepts for formwork and shoring solutions using PERI products. Discuss all commercial strategies with the Head of Sales to ensure projects are secured with the best price quality possible. Discuss concepts internally with Design Engineers who will develop winning designs, shop drawings, and material lists for projects. Coordinate with Offer Engineer and Material Demand Planner on material availability prior to offer creation. Analyze the geographical sector covered in terms of clients, projects and products. Acquire new clients. Manage projects under your control from client request to the return of material and payment of invoices. Report progress of projects, client relations, and development of follow-up projects to Management. Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field). Bilingual : Arabic & English. 5+ years’ experience in formwork & scaffolding sales in the Middle East; strong technical knowledge combined with proven sales ability; driven, customer-focused, and ready to make an impact. Ideally profound knowledge of the Qatar construction market and / or GCC construction market. Technical knowledge of PERI products and their use. Construction experience (general contractor, formwork, etc.). Good negotiation skills. Responsible, self-motivated, and an excellent team player with high collaboration with other Sales engineers, Logistics & Technical team. Entrepreneurial with very good communication skills. Strong command of Arabic and good command of English. Key relationships / customers
