Job Title : Business Development Manager

Reporting to : General Manager / Head of Business Development
Location : Qatar
Job Purpose :
To identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in Qatar by building strategic relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. The Business Development Manager drives revenue growth, supports market expansion, and enhances the company’s presence in line with corporate objectives and Qatar’s market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth and profitability targets.
Identify new business opportunities across target sectors (e.g., construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, facility management, technology, or services — depending on company focus).
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, government entities, and key decision-makers.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for business expansion.
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and presentations in coordination with relevant departments.
Negotiate terms, contracts, and agreements in line with company policies and profitability objectives.
Collaborate with the management team to forecast sales, track pipelines, and ensure timely project follow-up.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and networking.
Ensure compliance with local business regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all dealings.
Prepare regular reports on business performance, client feedback, and market developments.
Qualifications & Experience :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience : Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in Qatar or the GCC region.
Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with local market trends, tendering processes, and client networks.
Technical Skills :
Strong knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
Experience in preparing commercial proposals and contract negotiation.
Excellent presentation and communication skills (English mandatory, Arabic an advantage).
Qatar-Specific Requirement : Valid Qatari Driving License and transferable residence permit (preferred).
