About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Arabic Copywriter who knows how to bring government communication to life. This role is more than writing headlines — it’s about shaping the way a ministry speaks to millions of people across Qatar. From UX copy to full-scale awareness campaigns, you’ll set the tone, guide a team, and make sure every word feels clear, human, and trustworthy.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Arabic content work for a ministry account — digital, public correspondence, campaign, and app copy.
- Translate policies and processes into simple, user-friendly Arabic that end users can understand.
- Balance Modern Standard Arabic with Qatari expressions where appropriate.
- Review and refine the work of junior copywriters, providing direction and constructive feedback.
- Partner with designers, strategists, and client teams to build campaigns that carry authority but still feel approachable.
- Safeguard the ministry’s tone of voice, making sure it’s consistent across all channels.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of copywriting experience, ideally with time spent in an agency environment.Strong background writing for government, public sector, or national brands .A portfolio that shows clear Arabic writing, cultural awareness, and campaign-level creativity .Confident team player with leadership skills — someone who can coach younger writers and set the standard for quality.Native-level Arabic with a strong grasp of Qatari and GCC cultural context.Seniority level
