Legal Counsel

Our client in the real estate sector, a semi-govt entity is looking to hire for a Legal Counsel . Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B. or equivalent), preferably from a recognized Arabic university. LL.M. or master’s degree in law from a recognized university in the UK or USA is preferred. Qualified lawyer with 3 - 5 years of post-qualification legal experience (PQE). Preferably trained and gained substantive experience within a reputable law firm. Preferably with previous legal experience in Qatar is preferred, with familiarity with the Qatari legal and regulatory environment. Fully bilingual in Arabic and English, with excellent written and spoken proficiency in both languages. Strong legal drafting, contract review, legal research and analytical skills in both Arabic and English. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to produce consistently high-quality legal work. Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability for assigned matters. Hard-working, dedicated and proactive, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage several matters and competing priorities simultaneously. Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet agreed deadlines and timeframes. Commercially minded and able to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
