Commissioning Lead (Onshore Telecom)

Location: Qatar Onshore - Doha
Contract Type: 36 months

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil & Gas industry
• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles or oversight of service/vendor personnel
• Strong knowledge and understanding of completion certificate types
• Strong decision-making and prioritization skills under pressure, with technical, analytical, and interface skills
• Strong knowledge and understanding of punch list categorization
• Experience using Completion Management Systems (CMS) databases such as PIMS, WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon or similar
• Familiarity with construction, QA/QC, and Operations interfaces
• Excellent organizational, reporting, and communication skills
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and safe system handover practices

Technical and Business Skills

• Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures of offshore site environment
• Effective coordination with all parties involved and strong reporting skills
• Strong organizational and technical judgment skills
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Excellent communication skills to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up experience as a commissioning performer on major Oil & Gas projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs; computer literacy required
• Good communication and influencing skills
