Commis 2 (IRD)
- Assist in the preparation cooking and presentation of food items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations including ingredient preparation portioning and mise en place.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations kitchen equipment and storage areas.
- Follow food safety hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage to the Chef de Partie.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen role preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage.
