Safety Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Inspect work sites, equipment, and activities to identify safety hazards and unsafe practices.
  
• Monitor compliance with site HSE procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and PPE standards.
  
• Check high-risk activities, including lifting, work at height, and confined-space entry.
  
• Report safety observations and follow up on corrective actions.
  
• Support incident investigations, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
  
• Maintain inspection records and prepare safety reports.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Relevant safety inspection experience; oil and gas or industrial project experience preferred.
  
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
  
• Knowledge of risk assessments, permit-to-work systems, and emergency procedures.
  
• Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.

Requirements
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials; work in confined or elevated spaces. Experience: Previous experience in insulation work is an advantage but not always required for helper roles. Knowledge: Basic understanding of insulation materials, tools, and techniques (training is usually provided for helpers). Team Player: Willingness to work under supervision and assist skilled workers. Work Conditions: Comfortable working in cold environments, outdoors, or at heights. Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; basic understanding of workplace safety signs and labels.
