Security Awareness Trainer

Job Description

• Design and deliver engaging cybersecurity awareness programs, campaigns, workshops, and training sessions tailored to different user groups.
  
• Develop security awareness materials, including presentations, videos, quizzes, newsletters, and other educational content focused on cybersecurity best practices.
  
• Plan and execute phishing awareness simulations, analyze campaign results, and recommend improvements to strengthen user security behavior.
  
• Align security awareness initiatives with relevant compliance and security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
  
• Track awareness performance, prepare metrics and management reports, and collaborate with IT, HR, and business units to promote a strong security-first culture.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity awareness, security training, information security, or a related discipline.
  
• Proven experience designing and delivering security awareness programs, campaigns, workshops, and user-focused cybersecurity training.
  
• Strong ability to create training materials such as presentations, videos, quizzes, newsletters, and awareness communications.
  
• Experience planning and managing phishing simulation campaigns and analyzing results to improve employee awareness and behavior.
  
• Good understanding of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST, including awareness-related reporting requirements.
  
• CompTIA Security+, SSAP, or an equivalent industry-recognized cybersecurity certification is preferred.
