Senior Systems Administrator (Microsoft / VMware)

Job Description

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory (AD), DNS, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, and SCCM.
  
• Manage and support VMware infrastructure, including vSphere, vRealize, SRM, HCX, and NSX technologies.
  
• Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Infoblox DNS and related infrastructure services.
  
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to improve system administration, operational efficiency, and routine infrastructure tasks.
  
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, maintain availability, and support the overall reliability of Microsoft and VMware environments.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in systems administration and enterprise IT infrastructure.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, DNS, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, SCCM, and PowerShell.
  
• Strong experience with VMware technologies, including vSphere, vRealize, SRM, HCX, and NSX.
  
• Experience administering and supporting Infoblox DNS solutions.
  
• Strong knowledge of scripting and automation, particularly using PowerShell.
  
• Relevant certifications from major technology vendors, including Microsoft, VMware, and ITIL, are required/preferred.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity awareness, security training, information security, or a related discipline. Proven experience designing and delivering security awareness programs, campaigns, workshops, and user-focused cybersecurity training. Strong ability to create training materials such as presentations, videos, quizzes, newsletters, and awareness communications. Experience planning and managing phishing simulation campaigns and analyzing results to improve employee awareness and behavior. Good understanding of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST, including awareness-related reporting requirements. CompTIA Security+, SSAP, or an equivalent industry-recognized cybersecurity certification is preferred.
