Job Summary

We are seeking detail-oriented and technically capable Data Operators to support data collection verification processing database management reporting and documentation for Electrical Power Utility and Power Projects.

The successful candidates will be responsible for receiving and validating site condition-monitoring data maintaining project databases updating information in CBAM and related project software preparing reports and ensuring the accuracy completeness consistency and timely submission of project data.

The role requires strong Microsoft Excel and data-management skills attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with Data Analysts Technical Experts site teams and project management.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Verification

• Receive review and verify site condition-monitoring data test results inspection records and technical reports.

• Check data for accuracy completeness consistency and compliance with project requirements.

• Identify missing incorrect duplicated or inconsistent information and coordinate with relevant personnel for correction.

• Update and upload verified data into CBAM software and other project data-management systems.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project databases and electronic records.

• Handle large volumes of technical and site data while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Data Entry & Processing

• Perform accurate and timely data entry from site forms inspection reports test sheets and other technical documents.

• Prepare and maintain data collection forms site test forms templates and project documentation.

• Process and organise technical data according to established project procedures.

• Ensure all data is properly formatted and entered into the relevant databases and applications.

• Carry out data validation and reconciliation against existing databases and records.

Excel & Data Automation

• Develop and maintain advanced Excel worksheets for data processing validation tracking and reporting.

• Use Excel functions formulas PivotTables filters data validation and data-cleaning techniques.

• Develop Excel VBA macros to automate repetitive data-processing activities where required.

• Automate data validation and comparison against existing databases to identify mismatches and errors.

• Support the development of Excel-based dashboards summaries trackers and management reports.

Reporting

• Prepare and issue daily weekly monthly and project-specific reports.

• Generate data summaries dashboards statistics and progress reports as required.

• Ensure reports are accurate complete properly formatted and submitted within project deadlines.

• Assist Data Analysts and Technical Experts by providing accurate and organised datasets for analysis.

• Maintain data logs and tracking sheets for project activities.

Documentation & Records Management

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of data reports forms test records and project correspondence.

• Ensure all project records are properly organised and easily retrievable.

• Maintain document version control and ensure the latest approved information is used.

• Support the preparation and compilation of project documentation for internal and client requirements.

Project & Team Support

• Work closely with Data Analysts Technical Experts Engineers site teams and Project Managers.

• Assist with data-related activities during site surveys inspections and condition-monitoring activities.

• Coordinate with site personnel to clarify missing or inconsistent information.

• Carry out all assigned duties in accordance with the contract project procedures technical requirements and applicable standards.

• Perform other data-management and reporting duties assigned by the Project Manager or Technical/Data Lead.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology (IT) or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Data Operator Data Entry Operator Data Coordinator or similar position.

• Experience in an Electrical Power Utility Electrical Company Power Project or similar technical organisation is highly preferred.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge of CBAM software architecture and/or similar project data-management or condition-monitoring systems.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a Data Operator / Data Entry Operator / Data Coordinator with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an Electrical Power Utility or Power Project environment.

Candidates with advanced Excel skills VBA/macros CBAM experience technical data management condition-monitoring data handling and electrical utility project experience will be strongly preferred.
