Job Purpose

We are looking for a Rockwell Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in PLC HMI and SCADA programming testing commissioning and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell systems particularly ControlLogix CompactLogix Micro850 Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View SE.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop modify and troubleshoot PLC programs using Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms.
• Program and configure ControlLogix CompactLogix and Micro850 PLCs.
• Develop and modify HMI/SCADA applications using FactoryTalk View SE.
• Perform PLC/HMI/SCADA testing simulation and debugging.
• Conduct pre-commissioning loop checking functional testing and SAT activities.
• Troubleshoot PLC hardware communication networks I/O and automation systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols including Modbus Profibus Profinet and Ethernet/IP.
• Work with Historian/SQL databases for data logging and report generation.
• Support PLC redundancy configuration and SCADA server/client configuration.
• Review P&IDs Control Narratives Cause & Effect FDS I/O lists and system architecture drawings.
• Prepare technical documentation test procedures inspection reports and commissioning records.
• Maintain software versions backups and programming documentation.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide corrective solutions for automation issues.
• Coordinate with Project Engineering Sales Production and Client teams.
• Provide on-site technical support during commissioning and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Electronics Instrumentation Industrial Automation or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Rockwell/Allen-Bradley experience.
• Previous experience as an Automation Engineer Application Engineer Project Engineer or Testing & Commissioning Engineer is preferred.
