CNC Supervisor (Steelworks)

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of CNC Supervisor (Steelworks) in Qatar. The requirement is within the shipyard / steel fabrication sector and is suited to skilled professionals with hands-on knowledge of CNC operations and production supervision. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day CNC machining and steel fabrication activities to achieve production targets.
  
• Coordinate CNC machine setup, operating parameters, tooling, and job allocation.
  
• Monitor machining operations to ensure components are produced according to drawings and specifications.
  
• Guide CNC operators and technicians on machining sequences, setup requirements, and technical issues.
  
• Troubleshoot CNC machine, tooling, dimensional, and production-related problems.
  
• Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication requirements.
  
• Ensure completed components meet required quality standards before release to subsequent fabrication stages.
  
• Enforce workplace safety, machine safety, housekeeping, and applicable shipyard or steelworks procedures.
  

Required Skills

1. CNC Operations Supervision — Ability to supervise CNC operators, machining activities, job allocation, and daily production.
   
2. Steel Fabrication Knowledge — Understanding of CNC applications used in steelworks, fabrication, or shipyard environments.
   
3. Engineering Drawing Interpretation — Ability to understand dimensions, tolerances, profiles, and machining requirements from technical drawings.
   
4. Machine Setup & Troubleshooting — Practical knowledge of machine setup, tooling, operating parameters, and common CNC problems.
   
5. Quality & Safety Compliance — Ability to monitor dimensional quality and enforce safe CNC operating practices.
