Duct Fabricator

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of Duct Fabricator in Qatar. We are seeking skilled and motivated professionals with hands-on experience in PIR and GI duct fabrication and installation. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and strong practical knowledge of duct fabrication and installation work. Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate PIR and GI ducts according to project drawings dimensions and specifications.
  
• Measure mark cut shape assemble and finish duct components accurately.
  
• Install fabricated duct sections fittings bends transitions and related components at project sites.
  
• Interpret duct layouts fabrication drawings and measurements before commencing work.
  
• Use fabrication hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  
• Check fabricated ductwork for correct dimensions alignment joints and workmanship.
  
• Coordinate with supervisors and installation teams during fabrication and site installation.
  
• Follow project safety procedures and maintain an organized fabrication and installation work area.
  

Required Skills

1. PIR Duct Fabrication Practical ability to fabricate PIR duct sections and fittings.
   
2. GI Duct Fabrication Hands-on experience cutting forming assembling and finishing GI ductwork.
   
3. Duct Installation Experience installing fabricated ductwork at project sites.
   
4. Measurement & Fabrication Ability to work accurately with duct dimensions and fabrication measurements.
   
5. Fabrication Tools Practical knowledge of tools and equipment used in duct fabrication and installation.
   

Preferred Skills

• HVAC/MEP ductwork knowledge.
  
• Ability to interpret duct fabrication drawings and layouts.
  
• Experience working on large construction or MEP projects.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience is required. Candidates must have practical experience in PIR and GI duct fabrication and installation including hands-on fabrication and site installation activities.

Education

Minimum: Typical for this role ITI / vocational or equivalent trade qualification in sheet metal fabrication HVAC or a related trade.

Preferred: Relevant technical/trade certification.
