Operations and Maintenance- Asset management

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations and Maintenance professional to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our organization's assets, overseeing maintenance operations, and ensuring optimal equipment performance and longevity. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a commitment to systematic asset management, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage and maintain comprehensive asset inventory records using asset management systems and software
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan
• Monitor equipment performance and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and optimization opportunities
• Coordinate corrective maintenance activities and troubleshoot equipment issues in a timely manner
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports and documentation for compliance and performance tracking
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety protocols and organizational standards
• Collaborate with operations teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and allocate resources effectively
• Track maintenance costs and budgets to support operational efficiency
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and assessments to identify potential issues
• Maintain organized records of asset specifications, maintenance history, and warranty information
• Support the implementation of asset management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate maintenance requirements and asset status to relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

• Proven experience in asset management, maintenance operations, or related field
• Proficiency with asset management systems and maintenance management software
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation and record-keeping
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Arabic Speaker preferred.
