Electrical Commissioning Engineer

• Lead the testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
  
• Perform and supervise insulation resistance continuity functional protection relay and operational tests.
  
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Review electrical drawings single-line diagrams schematics method statements and commissioning procedures.
  
• Supervise and guide electrical technicians during testing and commissioning activities.
  
• Coordinate energization isolation shutdown and start-up activities.
  
• Ensure testing instruments are calibrated and suitable for use.
  
• Prepare test reports commissioning records punch lists and system handover documentation.
  
• Coordinate with construction engineering client vendor and operations teams.
  
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements permit-to-work procedures and electrical safety standards.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  
• Minimum 8 years of relevant electrical experience including significant commissioning experience.
  
• Strong experience in industrial power oil and gas petrochemical or infrastructure projects.
  
• Sound knowledge of transformers switchgear MCCs motors generators UPS systems cables protection systems and control panels.
  
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
  
• Experience leading and supervising teams of electrical technicians.
  
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
  
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and commissioning documentation.
  
• Strong knowledge of LOTO electrical isolation permit-to-work and HSE procedures.
  

Required Skills:
