Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the companys presence within the Qatar market by developing and executing effective sales strategies for lubricant products. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities managing key customer relationships leading the sales team and achieving revenue targets. Candidates with experience in automotive spare parts or tyre sales are also encouraged to apply. The Sales Manager will work closely with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service efficient operations and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and revenue for lubricant products in Qatar.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across automotive workshops transport companies industrial customers construction firms retailers and fleet operators.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors dealers key accounts and corporate clients.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activities market trends pricing strategies and customer requirements.
• Achieve and exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead coach motivate and develop the sales team to achieve individual and team objectives.
• Set sales targets monitor performance and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Organize sales meetings training sessions and field coaching to improve team productivity.
• Coordinate with logistics finance marketing and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of sales activities.
• Foster a high-performance customer-focused sales culture.

Sales Strategy & Reporting

• Develop market penetration strategies to expand the companys customer base and increase product visibility.
• Analyze sales performance customer trends and market data to identify business opportunities.
• Prepare and submit accurate weekly monthly and quarterly sales reports to senior management.
• Provide recommendations on pricing strategies promotional activities and product positioning.
• Forecast sales and contribute to annual sales planning and budgeting.

Customer Relationship Management

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular follow-up and responsive service.
• Resolve customer concerns and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely solutions.
• Maintain long-term business relationships through professional account management.
• Support customers by providing product information technical guidance and application recommendations where required.

Market Development

• Identify opportunities to introduce new products and expand into emerging market segments.
• Participate in trade exhibitions customer events and promotional campaigns.
• Gather market intelligence to support business decisions and product development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Marketing Sales or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of sales experience in Qatar with significant experience in lubricant sales.
• Experience in automotive spare parts or tyre sales will also be considered.
• Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
• Strong knowledge of Qatars automotive industrial and commercial lubricant market.
• Experience in B2B sales distributor management and key account management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and SAP ERP systems.
• Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
