Site Inspector QAQC

We are seeking a Site Inspector (QA/QC) who will ensure that design procurement construction testing commissioning and handover activities comply with contract documents approved drawings project specifications client standards statutory regulations and the approved Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and monitor the contractors Project Quality Plan ITPs method statements and quality procedures.
  
• Review material submittals technical submissions and manufacturers documents before procurement and installation.
  
• Monitor inspections for:
  
• Architectural works
  
• Structural works
  
• Mechanical systems
  
• Electrical and ELV systems
  
• Fire-protection systems
  
• Specialist systems
  
• Conduct regular site-quality inspections.
  
• Identify quality deficiencies and issue site observations and NCRs.
  
• Verify corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Review Requests for Inspection material-delivery inspections and factory-acceptance documentation.
  
• Ensure that only approved materials and acceptable workmanship are incorporated into the project.
  
• Monitor approved mock-ups sample panels and benchmark installations.
  
• Review laboratory test reports third-party inspection reports testing and commissioning procedures TAB reports and integrated-system testing records.
  
• Verify completion of snagging de-snagging and punch-list activities before practical completion and final handover.
  
• Participate in quality audits progress meetings technical coordination meetings and joint site inspections.
  
• Maintain quality records inspection registers NCR logs quality statistics and project documentation.
  
• Assist with payment-application reviews by confirming the quality and completion status of executed works.
  
• Promote continual improvement and ensure implementation of the Project Quality Management System throughout all project phases.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
  
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification is highly desirable.
  
• Certified Quality Engineer or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in building-construction projects.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial office fit-out or high-end interior projects.
  
• Proven experience in Design & Build contracts.
  
• Strong knowledge of:
  
• Project Quality Plans
  
• ITPs and method statements
  
• Material and shop-drawing reviews
  
• RFIs and NCR management
  
• Corrective and preventive actions
  
• FAT and SAT
  
• Testing and commissioning
  
• TAB
  
• Snagging and handover

• Qatar experience and familiarity with QCS Qatar Civil Defense and local authority regulations.
  
• Strong report-writing analytical and documentation skills.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
