Job Title: Email Security Administrator (On-Premises)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Email Security Administrator to manage, monitor, and support an on-premises Email Security Solution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily administration of the email security platform, ensuring secure mail flow, implementing security policies, investigating email threats, and collaborating with cross-functional IT and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor the on-premises email security platform on a daily basis.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize email security policies.
• Review and manage email quarantine, including release and user support.
• Troubleshoot mail flow issues and resolve email delivery problems.
• Investigate spam, phishing, malware, spoofing, and other email security incidents.
• Coordinate with Microsoft 365, Network, SOC, and Infrastructure teams to resolve operational and security issues.
• Review security logs, prepare reports, and support audit activities.
• Coordinate with vendors for issue escalation, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Support platform upgrades, patches, maintenance activities, and change implementations.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of the email security environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience administering Email Security Gateway solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 mail flow and Exchange Online.
• Strong understanding of SMTP routing, DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and TLS.
• Experience investigating email-based security threats, including phishing, malware, spoofing, and spam.
• Knowledge of security incident handling and troubleshooting email delivery issues.
• Experience working with enterprise security, networking, and infrastructure teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to support system upgrades, maintenance, and operational changes in a production environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise email security gateway solutions (e.g., Proofpoint, Cisco Secure Email, Mimecast, FortiMail, or similar).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange/Exchange Online administration.
• Experience in SOC or enterprise cybersecurity environments is an advantage.
