Mechanical Technician ( Ammonia Urea Process Plant)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive corrective and breakdown maintenance of rotating and static equipment within Ammonia and Urea Process Plants.
  
• Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of pumps compressors turbines blowers fans valves vessels columns heat exchangers piping systems and associated mechanical equipment.
  
• Execute equipment overhauls alignment bearing replacement seal replacement and mechanical repairs as per maintenance schedules.
  
• Conduct inspection and maintenance activities during plant shutdowns and turnarounds.
  
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings isometrics P&IDs equipment datasheets and maintenance procedures.
  
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to ensure reliable plant operation.
  
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update work orders through CMMS/SAP systems.
  
• Follow Permit to Work (PTW) Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) and all plant HSE requirements.
  
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe work practices during maintenance activities.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma / ITI / Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on maintenance experience in Ammonia Urea Fertilizer Petrochemical Refinery LNG Chemical or Process Plants.
  
• Strong experience with rotating equipment and static equipment maintenance.
  
• Knowledge of pumps compressors turbines heat exchangers reactors columns vessels and valves.
  
• Experience in shutdown and turnaround maintenance activities.
  
• Familiarity with CMMS/SAP maintenance systems is preferred.
  
• Good understanding of PTW LOTO and industrial safety practices.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Required Skills:

Expertise in engine overhaul and repair. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
