Painting Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervision: Lead painting and coating crews ensuring safe and efficient execution of surface preparation and coating activities.
  

• Work Planning: Organize daily tasks allocate manpower and ensure adherence to project schedules.
  

• Quality Control: Monitor coating application thickness and curing to meet project specifications and industry standards.
  

• Surface Preparation: Oversee blasting cleaning and priming activities prior to coating application.
  

• Documentation: Maintain records of paint usage inspection reports and quality assurance documentation.
  

• Safety Compliance: Enforce offshore HSE standards PPE usage and permit-to-work systems during painting operations.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical/Industrial Coatings or equivalent.
  

• Minimum 57 years of offshore painting/coating supervision experience.
  

• Strong knowledge of protective coatings surface preparation and offshore corrosion control.
  

• Ability to read and interpret coating specifications QA/QC procedures and project drawings.
  

• Familiarity with ASTM ISO and NOC coating standards.
  

Certifications & Training

• Coating Applicator Qualification Procedure (WHPR1-MDM4-ASYYY-23-)
  

• ASTM D4228 Coating Qualification
  

• BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)
  

• Basic H2S Training
  

• EPCIC Project HSES Induction
