Lean Engineer – Roads & Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Lean Construction principles and continuous improvement strategies across infrastructure projects.

• Monitor project workflows productivity and resource utilization to identify inefficiencies and reduce waste.

• Coordinate with project teams to improve construction planning sequencing and execution.

• Support implementation of Last Planner System (LPS) pull planning and workflow optimization.

• Analyze project performance data and prepare improvement reports and KPI dashboards.

• Conduct process reviews root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.

• Facilitate coordination meetings with project stakeholders to improve project delivery efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with project quality safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Roads & Infrastructure projects.

• Strong experience in Lean Construction methodologies and process improvement.

• Experience working on Ashghal or major infrastructure projects in Qatar is preferred.

• Knowledge of project planning construction sequencing and workflow management.

• Proficiency in MS Office Primavera P6 and reporting tools.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• MMUP/UPDA certification preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in KPI monitoring and performance analysis.

• Familiarity with BIM-integrated project workflows.

• Ability to lead workshops and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
