*Responsibilities*
Design develop and optimize complex IBM DB2 database schemas queries and stored procedures.
• Monitor and tune DB2 database performance to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with application developers to support data requirements and resolve database-related issues.
• Implement database security policies backup and recovery strategies.
• Participate in database capacity planning and scaling activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
• Mentor junior DB2 developers and conduct code and query reviews.
Stay current with IBM DB2 updates best practices and tools to enhance database environments.
