GIS Engineer

We are seeking a skilled GIS Engineer specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha this role you will lead the development and implementation of advanced GIS solutions to support the management and maintenance of road networks in the region.

• Design and implement GIS-based solutions for road network analysis asset management and maintenance planning
• Develop and maintain spatial databases for road infrastructure and related assets
• Create high-quality maps reports and data visualizations to support decision-making processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data with other systems and workflows
• Manage GIS projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and quality results
• Stay current with emerging GIS technologies and industry best practices in road O&M
• Ensure data quality and accuracy through rigorous quality control processes

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in GIS Geomatics Geography or a related field; Masters degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS with a focus on roads and infrastructure projects
• Advanced proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS
• Demonstrated ability to design and manage spatial databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Willingness to work on-site in Doha Qatar and travel as required for project needs
