Job Purpose
We are looking for L1 NOC Analysts to support 24×7 Network Operations Center activities. The role will be responsible for monitoring network alerts, performing first-level troubleshooting, logging incidents, and escalating issues as per the agreed SLA and SOP guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network events through dashboards, alerting tools, and monitoring systems.
- Perform first-level diagnostics for link failures, device unreachability, high utilization alerts, and basic network issues.
- Log, update, and track incidents in the ticketing system with accurate timestamps and clear troubleshooting steps.
- Follow standard triage scripts and escalate issues to L2 teams based on impact and priority.
- Maintain shift logs, handover reports, and documentation as per SOP requirements.
- Acknowledge alerts within SLA timelines and begin basic troubleshooting in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in network monitoring or NOC operations.
- Good understanding of networking basics, monitoring tools, incident logging, and escalation processes.
- Experience with ticketing systems and shift-based operations will be an advantage.
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a 24×7 shift environment.
