Role: Façade Project Director
Location: Qatar
Job Type: Permanent - Full time

At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Façade Project Director to join our client’s growing team based in Qatar. As a Façade Project Director, you will be responsible for leading facade projects from initial concept through to successful completion, ensuring delivery aligns with the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation. This leadership role requires comprehensive oversight of all projects phases, including design, procurement, fabrication, and installation, while maintaining strict compliance with relevant international standards such as AAMA and ASTM.
Your duties include:

Strategic Projects Leadership & Delivery
  • Take full ownership of facade projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop detailed projects plans including milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize projects processes and workflows.
  • Monitor projects progress using KPls and implement corrective actions proactively to address any deviations.

Technical Expertise & Compliance

  • Provide expert guidance on facade system design, materials selection, and structural integration, ensuring aesthetic, functional, and performance criteria are met.
  • Ensure all facade systems comply with international quality and safety standards (AAMA, ASTM), as well as local regulations and building codes.
  • Lead technical reviews and approvals of shop drawings, mock-ups, and test reports to confirm compliance and quality standards.
  • Stay abreast of emerging facade technologies, materials, and installation techniques to recommend innovative solutions.

Cross-Disciplinary Coordination & Stakeholder Management


  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments including design, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges and design conflicts.
  • Manage expectations and provide regular projects status updates to senior management and clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, scope changes, and resolve disputes to protect project interests.





Procurement & Fabrication Oversight


  • Oversee the procurement of facade materials and systems, ensuring suppliers meet quality, timeline, and cost requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with fabrication facilities to monitor manufacturing processes, quality control, and delivery schedules.
  • Review and approve fabrication methodologies, testing protocols, and logistics plans to ensure seamless project integration.

Construction & Installation Supervision

  • Provide leadership during on-site facade installation activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify workmanship, safety compliance, and schedule adherence.
  • Address and resolve technical and operational issues arising during installation in a timely manner.

Risk Management & Safety Assurance

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks related to project delivery, including technical, financial, and safety risks.
  • Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on-site and across all projects phases.
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Develop and manage projects budgets, forecasting costs accurately and controlling expenditures.
  • Review and approve projects invoices, change orders, and payment milestones.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on project performance, highlighting financial status, risks, and mitigation plans.

Team Leadership & Development


  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing fa<;ade projects team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Identify training needs and promote continuous professional development to enhance team capabilities.
